Intergenerational
Our program works with 8th grade students at Southern Regional Middle School, who are members of the Student Youth Leadership Experience club (STYLE). This program starts with a training period to include Elder sensitivity, listening skills and available resources to elders in our community. After training the students choose an action plan that will give them community service hours. A few of the action plans include taking part in the serving of meals at Ken's Kitchen, visiting Senior Centers and friendly phone calls to elder seniors.
